Solid Snake (ソリッド・スネーク Soriddo Sunēku)
He is the main character in Metal Gear saga,born in the project" Les Enfants Terribles".Snake is the best clone of Big Boss known like the "perfect soldier".
When Big Boss went in coma and due to the battle injuries, Big Boss became steril and The Patriots extract Big Boss´s genes to clone him in case that he dies (Big Boss)and this is how Solid, Liquid and Solidus Snake born.
Solis Snake get in action in Metal Gear 1, where he looks younger and some novice and his goal is solutionate the Outer Heaven Uprising and during the story, Snake realizes Big Boss was leadering this uprising and Snake has to face him and
In Metal gear 2:Solid Snake, Roy Campbell recruits Snake to take him to Zanzibar Land, a nation fortress with the same proposals than Outer Heaven.There,Snake must rescue Dr Marv, destroy Metal Gear D and get back Oilix formula. Snake realizes once more that Big Boss was behind everything and he wasn´t dead like Snake thought.Then,Snake faces Gray fox driving Metal Gear D and Snake won the battle.Later Snake faces Big Boss and defeat him with an improvised lighter.
Metal Gear Solid: Naomi Hunter injected FOX-DIE to Snake in order to get revenge on the alleged death of her brother Gray fox at Zanzibar Land events. The FOX-HOUND squad elite has rise up and take over the base at Shadow Moses island at Alaska.Solid Snake is recruit by Roy Campbell to finish this standing.
Snake get infiltrated inside Shadow Moses and he discovers that Liquid Snake,his twin,wants to take over Metal Gear Rex, a biped tank able to launch nuclear misiles from any part in the world.Snake misions are rescue Donald Anderson(Sigint)DARPA´s chief, Snake faces Liquid Snake and Metal Gear Rex with Meryl Silverbug and Gray Fox´s help. Snake also meets Otacon, his inseparable friend along the saga.
Metal Gear Solid 2:Sons of liberty:Here Snake looks a bit mature from MGS1 game,he has create his own company with Otacon called "Philantrophy Anti-Metal Gear.Solid Snake must infiltrate in a ship that supposely is carrying oil when it´s really carrying a new Metal Gear protoype and take photographic evidence from it. once Snake get the evidence Liquid Snake controls Ocelot´s body because of his implanted hand (Liquid´s hand) and he scape with Metal Gear.Snake is supposed has dead during the incident.Two years later,Snake is in the Big Shell pretending to be Iroquis Pliskin, the one S.E.A.L. survivor member before Raiden. When Solidus Snake make his appearance pretending to be Solid Snake, Snake seems to be forced to reveal his identity before Raiden.Later Raiden rescues Emma Emmerich( Otacon´s sister), Emma putsa virus in GW database,this causes a standstill in all the Metal Gears created during the two years after the oil ship incident.Then Snakes chases liquid to the sea,Liquid was controlling Metal Gear Ray and Snake get to put a transmitter on the Metal Gear Ray in order to know It`s position.
Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the patriots:Here Snakes looks old enough because he is a clone,and his cells were programmed to live less time than any human and now he is known as Old Snake, Naomi said that he will live no more than 6 months.
He is recruited by Roy Campbell for the last time to stop Liquid that has completely controled Ocelot, and he became Liquid Ocelot, in Middle East, Snake meets Drebin , who injected on him a new Fox-Die. So while Snake stay alive , this virus will substitute the old Fox-Die virus.
Snake meets the Rat Patrol 01 too, Snake fails that mission and he`s picekd up by Johnny “Akiba” , the only man from Rat Patrol 01(created by Meryl Silverbug)
Later, Snake go to Sudamérica , where he meets the Beauty And Beast Unit and he rescued Naomi with Drebin´s help.
Later Snake travels to East Europe , to rendezvous with an Anti-PMC´s group leader best known as Big Mama (She´s Big Boss´s clone mother) She updates Snake about the creation of The Patriots .Then they look for Big Boss´s body and it turns out Solidus Snake body,Liquid throw it in fire to Volta River and Big Mama dies on Snake´s arms due to the Fox-Die virus that Snake carries on his body.
Then Snake goes to Shadow Moses Island to prevent Liquid steals the Rail Gun from Metal Gear Rex,Snake fails the mission and the Rail Gun is stolen. After Snake injects on Vamp a syringe to steal the nanomachines that help Vamp to cure his wounds quickly, this thing makes it immortal. Naomi ends up his suffering and she injects another syringe on Vamp, killing him so, next Naomi dies.
While Otacon repeairs Metal Gear Rex using M.k III Snake and Otacon get scaped on him,Solid Snake ir driving the Metal Gear and Liquid drives Metal Gear Ray and they have an epic fight,Rex won, but Liquid shows his new creation, a new Outer Heaven mixing the five biggest PMC´s to combat The Patriots. This Outer Heaven includes the Rail Gun and GW´s system inside of it. Liquid unto Outer Heaven tries to kill Snake but in that then Raiden comes to help him ,cutting his arm and risking his life a lot in order to save Snake.
Later Snake get infiltrated in Outer Heaven to eliminate the Rail Gun,the GW system and Liquid Ocelot, Snake beats Liquid in an historical hand in hand combat helped by Fox-Die virus and Liquid Dies.
In the epilogue Snake almost suicide at cemetery in front of The Boss´s grave, but Big Boss appears carrying The Patrio machine gun, Big Boss hugs Snake and starts explain why he still alive, Big Boss tells Snake that the burned corpse at Volta River was Solidus and then , Big Boss tells to Snake that after the Zanzibar incident his body was kept in a dead-live state and his body was rebuilded using Solidus and Liquid´s body parts.
Big Boss updates Snake about The Patriots creation, explaining his quit of the institution and relating his reasons to create Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land. Next Big Boss shows Major Zero( The Patriots founder) in vegetal condition an then Big Boss kills him. After Big Boss dies due to the Fox-Die , this virus would killThe Patriots fomer member only , Big Boss smokes the last cigarret in his life and salutes The Boss´s grave for the last time.
Big Boss´s last words are “This is good,isn´t it ?” and then he dies on Snake´s arms due to the virus that Solid Snake is carrying on his body.
Finally in a telephone conversation Snake tells Otacon he will live the short lifetime that he has, no guns. Otacon supports him and he will be with him until he dies .
